Circle of Doom sees you playing as one of four characters, each with their own weapons and skills. I'm not sure why, but you seem to be fighting hordes of a lizard army. Storyline wise, I don't know what to tell you - so instead, you are just going to have to accept that things must happen for a reason and move on!

Gameplay is split into the good and the bad. The good includes the customisable weapons and clothes; there is a good RPG feel to it here. The bad includes the horrifically dull button-mashing fights - don't dare to stray from the path, you'd only be disappointed!

Graphics are okay, nothing overwhelming though. Enemy AI is all but non-existent; you literally hack and slash your way through the levels in a straight line, until you reach the end.

I know I seem to be concentrating on the bad, but I should say that the game has something; it reminded me of Golden Axe, and that is never a bad thing.
