Do you remember those adventure books where you could determine the outcome by making decision for the hero? 'Open door, turn to page 206. Turn back, go to page 5', etc.

Well essentially, that is what you have here - except instead of getting a body of descriptive text you get.. nothing! Because of the slow pace of the game and endless conversations, you may never finish it - old age may just overtake you! As for the music, it sounds as if it was designed by a depressed elevator repair man.

On the plus side, the graphics have a lovely 'noir' feel to them, and the display is set up with an overhead map that you use to move, and a first-person view on the top screen to help you look for clues (if you could be bothered!).

Sadly, though, the game is too rigid, and if you don't look for things in the right order, they won't be there - making the game impossibly frustrating.

If you name is Jobe, you're in with a chance; but for us mere mortals, it's enough to make you fling the DS off a moving train.
