After its first announcement way back in 2017, 'Ghost of Tsushima' finally has a release date locked in for June 26th of this year.

As well as this, Sony also released a thrilling story trailer to go along with the date announcement, along with some of the gameplay mixed in for good measure. The release date of June 26th now puts 'Ghost of Tsushima' just three weeks after the release of 'The Last of Us, Part II' - another PS4 exclusive, too.

While 'Ghost of Tsushima' always had an unspecified release date, 'The Last of Us, Part II' moved its release date from February 21st to May 29th to allow for more development time and save on crunching for staff.

Interestingly enough, there's been zero mention of whether or not 'Ghost of Tsushima' will be upgraded for the PlayStation 5. Rumours had begun to circulate Sony's reluctance to set a release date was tied to the PlayStation 5, however Sony and studio Sucker Punch made no mention of it in the official release.

In the meantime, check out the story trailer.
