It's been something of a busy weekend for video games news, so we're going to get you all caught up in one place right here, right now!

CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE 4

While it hasn't been given that official title just yet - although if doesn't get announced as something like Mode4n Wa4fa4e, we'll eat our collective hats - the next Call Of Duty game did get its official announcement over the last few days. Michael Condrey, head of Sledgehammer Games, has said that the latest CoD game will be "the most ambitious, most creative game yet" that he's worked on. Considering this is the man who was one of the guys who brought us the Dead Space series, that's some fighting talk right there.

Rumoured to be released exclusively on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in November 2014, right in time for all the kiddies to be asking Santy for it, expect some kind of official teaser trailer in the not too distant future.

FAR CRY 4

Having been previously set in the African plains, and then an tropical island paradise (aside from all those nasty modern pirates), Far Cry 4 is set to be set in the snowy landscapes of the Himalayas. Aside from that and the fact that there's talk of being able to ride an elephant over the mountains (Amazing), there's not much new info to go on just yet.
Game developers Ubisoft will most likely make a full announcement of the game at this year's E3 conference in June, with early word stating the game will be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC in Early 2015.

ASSASSIN'S CREED: UNITY

Finally, something concrete to show off! It feels like it was only yesterday when we were jumping around the Caribbean in Black Flag, but with at least one new Assassin's Creed game getting released every year since the first one popped out back in 2007, it really was only a matter of time before news of the new one arrived. This time it looks like we'll be parkour'ing and assassin'ing our way around Paris in the midst of the French Revolution, so expect lots of decapitations and ... croissants?
Ubisoft have confirmed that the game is due in the fourth quarter (around Christmas) of 2014, and will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
