Anyone who finds themselves wishing that Jon Snow had remained dead in 'Game of Thrones' and would like to make him dead again could soon be granted their wish as it's been announced that Kit Harington will be playing the villain in the upcoming 'Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare'.

The latest installment in the Call of Duty series is set for release November 4th and following the release of footage of Harington in a mo-cap cage earlier this week, Activision has announced that the 'Game of Thrones' actor will feature in the game, not as a protagonist, but as the villain of the whole piece.

Guy Ritchie was brought in to direct Harington in his role as the character, which was described by narrative director Taylor Kurosaki as "the embodiment of the enemy, the Settlement Defense Front."

"It meant a lot to us to develop the role into everything it could be. We're excited about the performance Kit delivered and can't wait to get it out to the public," Infinity Ward studio head Dave Stohl said in a statement.

So there you have it. No dragons, but you can probably look forward to offing everyone's favourite bastard come November.
