Braiiiins. Is there anything more pure in life than killing zombies? Not according to Dead Rising 2. The open world game revolves around motorcross champion Chuck Greene as he battles, well, zombies in Fortune City just off Las Vegas.
There's a point to all the carnage though. Greene has a daughter who has been infected with the zombie virus and she needs regular doses of Zombrex to avoid joining the masses of the undead. There's also loads of civilians that will only let you save them once you complete a list of bizzare tasks which range from taking your clothes off to buying them things.
Dead Rising 2 keeps it's tongue firmly in cheek and does a good job of creating a colourful world fans of George Romero's zombie flicks will instantly recognise. Also impressive is the sheer amount of well drawn enemies which appear on screen at once. Killing is fun thanks to the reality TV show angle, a zombie rights group and even freeze ray guns. However, get used to the awkward driving controls and looking at the loading screen. And remember to save and save often.
