A new gameplay trailer for ‘Red Dead Redemption 2’ has been unveiled, just weeks ahead of its release.

‘Red Dead Redemption’, which was one of the most popular games of the PS3/Xbox era, launched in 2010, meaning fans have been waiting for nearly a decade to return to the frontier.

Rockstar Games has released a little over 4 minutes of gameplay footage, showing off a special glimpse of first-person mode. Usually a third-person game, Rockstar has let slip that the next game will have a first-person mode for players who want to fully immerse.

New features in the sequel include customization options, with players having the ability to decide what the character Arthur Morgan wears, eats, and handles his physical hygiene. Players can customize their horses as well.

The new trailer shows more dynamic weather and a deeper look at important game mechanics like Dead Eye.

In the video, Rockstar boasts that players will discover experiences “naturally as you move fluidly from one moment to another.”

It gives a preview of adventures the players will participate in, which range from grand events like robbing trains and getting up to no good, to smaller personal moments with members of your gang or random inhabitants of the world.

As reported last week, 'Red Dead Redemption 2' will take up 105GB to install on the PS4.
