“Well, The Show Must Go On!” is an hilarious new play written and directed by Waterford writer Martine Rogers. Set in a Waterford town, a struggling drama group “The Deise Players” attempts to stage a momentous production. Anyone who has been involved on committees will relate to the politics and undertones that filter through this play from start to finish. You will laugh because it’s funny but mainly because you will identify with the characters; the clique on the committee, the has-been who is trying to keep her foot in the door, the creep, the holy Joe, the mammy’s boy, the volatile teen, the blow ins and more.
