Inspired by London’s improvised jam scene, Q returned home and noticed there were no real spaces for artists to create without an end goal and to fully improvise, connect, and collaborate with other artists, musicians, and producers across the RnB / hip hop / jazz / trad / rap / poetry / funk / Latin / Afro / neo-soul scene. No wonder people were flying away to find their community or a space to belong, everything felt gated. Q created Soul Juice as an attempt to bring people together in person.
