Originally from Cleveland, OH, Cautious began his artistic journey at the age of seven when he picked up classical flute. His studies led him deep into the worlds of blues and jazz, and by the time he hit college in Washington D.C., he had added a number of other instruments to his repertoire in addition to song-writing and production.
Now based in Brooklyn, Cautious released a series of singles that led up to the February release of his debut EP, Blood Type. Fresh off the June release of his Sophomore EP, Resonance, Cautious Clay is quickly making his inimitable sound and lyrical acumen known to his nearly two million monthly listeners.
