This winter, the historic halls of Malahide Castle will be filled with magic as Santa returns with Santa at Malahide Castle. The most magical Christmas castle experience promises an unforgettable visit where timeless heritage meets festive joy.
Stepping inside the beautifully decorated rooms of this 12th century castle, families will be welcomed into a world of enchantment. Gentle, atmospheric lighting and thoughtful storytelling ensure the experience is calm, joyful and truly inclusive, perfect for little ones who can sometimes find seasonal events overwhelming.
The 2025 experience includes highlights such as Santa’s Sleigh, a special photo opportunity at the castle entrance, along with the return of the enchanting Wishing Tree, where children can share their hopes and dreams for the year ahead. Families can expect an extended visit with Mrs Claus, where she will read stories and spend more time than ever with each group of children, before they enjoy a personal meeting with Santa himself. Afterwards, visitors can enjoy professional photographs, grab a hot chocolate at Avoca or the nearby Alpine Food Village from early evening, or visit the vintage funfair all within the Castle grounds.
Every child will receive a premium cuddly toy to treasure, along with a festive treat, creating memories that last long after Christmas concludes.
