We are thrilled to announce ARTWORK 2026: Hold This and Kate O’Shea, Mycelium as the summer exhibitions at VISUAL. Hold This brings together work from over 20 local, Irish and international artists. Works across many media consider ideas of exchange and inheritance; of ideas, objects and ways of being in the world. Technology, nature and humanity are shown to be intertwined and dependent on each other, for good and for ill. Kate O’Shea's socially engaged practice spans printmaking, archiving, installation, performance and publishing, with an emphasis on collaboration and building networks of solidarity. Mycelium brings together textiles, sculpture, sound and artist-made books in an immersive installation.
