Wexford St. Patrick's Day Festival takes place on 17 March, from the Fisher's Rowe area up to the Maudlintown area, taking in the following route: William's Street, Trinity Street, Paul Quay, Crescent Quay, Commercial Quay, Wellington Place, Redmond Square and West Gate. Prizegiving takes place the following day.

This year's parade will see many floats and numerous marching bands, along with stilt walkers and face painters and will be one of Wexford's best parades, despite the recession!

Wexford Town's St. Patrick's Day Parade is one of the oldest parades in the country - it started back in 1917 and continued until the outbreak of World War II and in 1946 the tradition was continued.
