The Saw Doctors, Bell X1, Jack L, Rebecca Storm, the percussion troupe Extreme Rhythm and Vladimir’s Classical Twist are among the top names already confirmed for the Wexford Spiegeltent Festival scheduled for Wexford Quay from Wednesday October 24th to Saturday November 3rd.
The Wexford Spiegeltent Festival, presented in association with DoneDeal, will feature over 30 shows, including music by some of Ireland's top acts, as well as screenings of vintage films, comedy, dance, theatre, circus acts, a food fair and events designed to entertain school-goers on their mid-term break. The festival bill will also feature A day in Vienna - an orchestral event featuring soprano Claudia Boyle who made a major impact at last year’s Wexford Opera festival.
Each night of the Wexford Spiegeltent Festival will feature two main events, one at 7 pm and the other at 10 pm, the earlier shows are intended to facilitate audiences from outside the Wexford area. The film programme will include the classic first silent Dracula movie Nosferatu, which will be accompanied by the original score played on piano and violin.
