The New Year's Festival will return to Dublin for the first time in three years - with one of Ireland's most successful acts headlining.

They've already played a mammoth gig in the capital this year, headlining the Aviva Stadium over the summer - and now Westlife will bring 2022 to a close in front of thousands on December 31st.

They'll be joined by Gavin James and Lyra, with more acts TBA in the coming weeks.

There will be a family-friendly matinee show for all ages at 4pm, followed by the evening show which kicks off at 8pm.

A brand new Festival Village will also be installed with six stages at Dublin's North Wall Quay.

There's no word yet on whether the concert will be televised, but tickets for Westlife at the NYF Dublin Festival Village (priced €34.90 including booking fee) and Midnight Moment Matinee (Early Bird Tickets from. €7.90 including booking fee) will go on sale on Thursday 17 November at 9am from Ticketmaster.
