For all you die hard Beatles fans the Dublin Beatles Festival is coming to town next month. The first ever Dublin Beatles Festival will take place from the 7th - 10th November 2013. This four day celebration will mark the 50th anniversary of the only Dublin performance from the world's most iconic rock group. The festival will feature more than 20 Irish and international bands in city centre venues. So far confirmed artists include: John Lennon's Original Quarrymen, the Choking Smokers, Revolver and The Gandhis. You can book tickets through entertainment.ie. Its definitely an event not worth missing.

The Sneem International Storytelling and Folklore Festival hits Kerry from the 8th- 10th November. Sneem International Folklore & Storytelling Festival is a weekend of concerts, workshops, lectures, walks and tours with a theme of folklore and storytelling for all ages. This charming village will host its second festival for storytellers, singers, lecturers and musicians from Ireland and abroad headed by its own international seanachai Batt Burns, capturing a little of the magic of the area's centuries old traditions.There will be performances for adults and children, story swaps, guided walks and bus tours to places of historic interest.

If you fancy divulging into some films make sure you head to Waterford for the Waterford Film Festival. Running from the 8th to the 10th of November, the festival showcases a wide range of short films from documentaries, animation, short films, experimental and student work. Every year the Waterford Municipal Art Gallery at Greyfriars is transformed into a cinema for the duration of the festival.

The Irish Fly Fair takes place in the lovely surroundings of Salthill in Galway on the 9-10 November. A host of the world's greatest Fly-dressers, Casters and Angling Celebrities will once again gather to participate in the Fourth Annual Irish Fly Fair and Angling Show. Visitors will have the opportunity to watch some of the best International Fly-dressers practise their art, whilst Champion Fly-casters will be available to demonstrate and advise on Fly-casting techniques and fly-fishing tactics.

And finally, Ireland take on Australia in the Rugby League World Cup in Thomond Park, Limerick on November 9th.
