Opera fans rejoice - booking opened this week for the 62nd Wexford festival Opera, which will take place on 23rd October - 3rd November. This year the festival will once again feature three full productions alongside morning events, lunchtime concerts, afternoon ShortWorks, recitals, late night revues and the ever popular Fringe Festival.
In the words of tenor Joseph Calleja: "What's not to like? It's quaint, it's very green - it's really all about nature, good food and good beer and the opportunity to discover hidden gems in the operatic world and hidden emerging singers".
