Former Fair City actress, Gemma Doorly makes her directorial debut with her play W.A.G starring her former Fair City colleague and good friend Sorcha Furlong.

Following it's sell-out tour, W.A.G is a black comedy and modern fable. Set in the lavish surroundings of a sports star’s mansion while he is away, his wife has invited a guest around for a drink and a chat – his mistress. Armed with intimate photos of the mistress and a threat to leak the story to the newspapers - W.A.G is ready to fight for her marriage to the death. ‘Til murder to us part!

Sorcha Furlong is best known for playing the much loved character ‘Orla Kirwin’in RTE soap Fair City. Theatre credits include: ‘Girls’s Night – The Musical’ (Gaiety Theatre) Menopause The Musical, Canaries (Tivoli Theatre), Lovely People (civic theatre) and Whale Music (Andrew’s Lane Theatre).

Gemma Doorly is best known as playing ‘Sarah O’leary’ in RTE soap Fair City for ten years. Previous writing credits include: ‘The Robb’d That Smiles’ Focus Theatre and Old Museum Arts Centre, Belfast 2006 and Dublin Fringe, ‘The Fireman and The Nurse’ Dalkey Writer’s week and Farmleigh House and short film ‘The Baby Brother’. Gemma was nominated for best actress IFTA in 2007 for the film ‘A Song For Rebecca’.
