This year’s Tulca festival is curated by Gregory McCartney and it will bring together 41 artists over 10 locations. Tulca promises to be a lively two weeks with talks, tours and workshops scheduled throughout the festival as well as playing host a site specific public art Installation at Inis Bearacháin in Connemara.
Tulca 2012 will focus on landscape, on the ideas of progression and regression, which in essence is a focus on change. It is about psychological landscapes as much as the physical geography, as an interest in landscape is at its heart and an interest in people and how they react to transformation.
