TrócaireLive annual mini-festival will take place at the Grand Social, 35 Liffey Street, Dublin 1 on Saturday, 10th May.
This year, Trócaire has collaborated with up-and-coming street artist Cian Walker to create three unique pieces of art placing a spotlight on Trócaire’s campaigning work, which will be displayed in the venue in the lead-up to the event.
Headlining this year’s gig will be Irish electronic musician Daithí, Colours Afrobeat Foundation and The Eskies. Joining them will be Dublin-based music collective The Animators; Ugandan folk singer Justine Nantale; Soul-Folk-Alternative artist Yong Buddha; Nigerian drumming group Talking Drums; Groovement Soul DJs; and White Collar Boy (DJ Set). Broadcaster Dan Hegarty takes MC duty.
There'll also be an array of world food to sample and photography and acts will perform both indoors and in the covered beer garden. Tickets can be purchased on the door or here for €10. Doors 5pm. Admission free before 7pm.
