Tocht is two days of fabulous dance - watching, learning, joining in and experiencing something new. Come along for a taste of all kinds of dance: traditional, hip-hop, salsa and dance for people of all ages.
The Tocht Festival of Dance 2013 takes place in Siamsa Tíre, Tralee for two days of dance workshops, performances and discussions. The festival encourages us all to get up and get moving and gives the public a chance to watch some fantastic footwork, take a workshop or masterclass and enjoy some of the best dance performers on the Siamsa stage.
The festival has been curated by Jonathan Kelliher (Siamsa Tíre) and Catherine Young. Catherine Young is Siamsa Tíre's Dancer in Residence (supported by Kerry County Council) and is the Artistic Director of YoCo and the founder and Artistic Director of Kerry Youth Dance Theatre.
