Tiger Stripes has been making a name for himself now for a number of years, releasing his first track under the tag on Slip"N" Slide in 2004. Since then he has gone on to grab attention on both sides of the Atlantic with names like Dennis Ferrer, Carl Craig, Jerome Sydemham and Laurent Garnier amongst his greatest admires. Last year he released his debut album on New York house label "King Street" to critical acclaim. Since then he has found a new home in the form of German label "Get Physical," delivering a harder edged sound. He has just released his second EP for "Get Physical" called "Blackroom Entertainment EP" featuring the massive title A-side along with Abacus on the flip side. The EP signifies a turn to a slightly harder and more techno-influenced sound, and is soon to be remixed by Roger Sanchez Joey Negro & Robyn. Tiger Stripes makes a welcome return to Dublin this November after playing to full house at The Underground earlier in the year. He plays Wax at Spy Bar pm November 8th with support from Robbie Ryan (BigDishGo) & Rubio (Hang Tough). Tickets are €12/15. Doors 11pm 'til late.
