Kildare will be 'Brewing Up a Storm' at The Athy Harvest Fleadh Oktoberfest on 19th October with a headline set from The Stunning and support from Sharon Shannon.

Every brewer has their own secret recipe; that secret ingredient that puts their signature to a special brew. The same goes for a great event - the key is in the ingredients... the music, the brews, the atmosphere - all of which combine to make the perfect recipe at the Harvest Fleadh Oktoberfest - music & craft beer festival.

In the seven years that The Stunning were together, they toured relentlessly building up a following that would make them one of the most successful Irish bands ever. In 1990, their debut album ‘Paradise In The Picturehouse’ spent five weeks at number one and became one of the mostloved Irish albums of all time. With greatest hits including 'Brewing Up A Storm'' 'Half Past Two', 'Romeo’s on Fire' and 'Everything that Rises''which are still heard of Irish airwaves today.

Also on the bill is Ireland’s trad sweetheart Sharon Shannon plus well-known Kildare trad band, Hillbilly Porter and in a new addition to the festival - The Search for Ireland’s next Top Trad Musician will see entrants compete for the chance to perform onstage with Sharon herself.
