The Sean Kelly Tour of Waterford is now in its 7th year. Over 6000 participants took part in the 2012 event. Start your weekend on Saturday by taking part in the12k Kelly Spin along Dungarvan's Old Railway Walk - this is suitable for all family members over 8 years. Over half of this cycle is off road and there is plenty fun for all the family along the way. On Sunday, the three longer events take to the road.

The now infamous 160k Kelly Comeragh Challenge starts at 8.15am. This route is for those who are up for a challenge and are well prepared for mountainous terrain. As with all of the rest of the routes participants are encouraged to take their time and enjoy the wonderful scenery that the Comeraghs and Waterford have to offer. The 100k Kelly Heritage Route was a new route introduced in 2012, to universal approval from participants.

The route includes a visit to An Rinn and Old Parish, Waterford's Gaeltacht area, as well as historic Ardmore and the Heritage Town of Lismore. The Community Centre in Knockanore was the newest addition to the tour's legendary food stops. The 50k Kelly Cruise is another popular route for those who may be new to cycling. This route is suitable for younger members of the family but all participants must be aged 10 years or over.
