The 4th annual 'Youghal Queen of The Sea Festival 2013' is set to be the biggest and most exciting to date. The festival has a jam-packed programme of events for families of all ages.
Celebrating The Gathering in 2013, the festival will see Queens with a connection to Youghal enter the competition from all corners of the world, making this a truly international event. Other highlights of the festival will include a magnificent Mardi Gras street party to signal the beginning of the festival on the streets of Youghal; live open-air live music gigs on both Friday and Saturday night; and a stunning fireworks display after the crowning of the Queen of the Sea.
Saturday will see a magnificent food festival where visitors will enjoy a taste of local produce. With face painting, crab catching & sandcastle building competition and street music the atmosphere is sure to be electric!
Sunday is Fun Day in Green Park. With a fun dog show and the hilarious wife carrying race, fastest Daddy race, beach volleyball, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, bouncy castles & obstacle course are sure to raise a laugh or two! Lots of free fun entertainment for everyone.
