This summer The Playhouse Children and Teens Arts Festival will be celebrating Music City with music photography, video animation and DIY instruments! Now into its 22nd year, the festival is the longest running in Northern Ireland, and will run from Monday July 21- Friday August 1.
While Derry-Londonderry celebrates its unique musical heritage and 2013 legacy with its designation as City of Music 2014, The Playhouse kids are making their own musical mark!
Music photographers with independent record label Smalltown America, artists and curators from local Art Galleries, and the founder of a new musical theatre company are among the facilitators announced for the two week festival.
Workshops in musical theatre, animation, dance and visual arts are all on the musical menu, as well as a special class in producing and curating your own artwork.
