The weather has been a little bit… unpredictable of late, which probably doesn't bode well for the summer but here's something to look forward to this July, that should help brighten things up.

Each year at The Laya Healthcare Street Performance World Championships (in Dublin 12th - 14th July  and in Cork 20th - 21st July) bring the best street performers to Ireland to compete for the coveted title of world champion. This free festival is packed full of jaw-dropping jugglers, awe-inspiring acrobats and spine-tingling sword swallowers.

But this year there's going to be an added element of fun. Introducing The Ministry of Silly Ideas. Taking over the new Laya Healthcare LOL arenas at both the Dublin and Cork festivals, The Ministry of Silly Ideas will add even more free (and most likely side-splitting) activities to the mix - Pie-Throwing Championship, Mass Participation Balloon Fight and the World's Fastest Face Painting Production Line.
