From Stephen Rea to Eoin Colfer, the third History Festival of Ireland will take place historic marvel that is Huntington Castle from June 7 - 8.

A dazzling array of discussions, readings, debates, interviews and performances along with Huntington's extraordinary Temple of Isis and Ireland's most in-depth explorations of World War I ever to be assembled.

Speakers will include Margaret MacMillan, Myles Dungan, Catriona Crowe and Turtle Bunbury discussing World War One, also Stephen Rea, Eoin Colfer, Grace Dyas and Kevin Whelan on History and Literature.

One ticket €22.50 will give you access to the entire gamut of talks, lectures, performances and debates for the whole day - and of course access to Huntington's sumptuous gardens.

For children, they will be invited to 'travel back in time' and discover 'the story of Ireland' in front of the castle.
