The Funny Farm has taken over Wednesday nights at new club Transformer underneath The Oak on Dame Street. Hosted by Neil Hickey and Fred Cook, Dublin's newest comedy club already boasts Irish comedy circuit regulars Damian Clark, Robbie Bonham, James Goldsbury and Andrew Stanley on its line ups. Neil Hickey began his stand up career just over four years ago and in this short time he has performed his thoughtful, warm and witty brand of humour in all the major comedy venues across Ireland. Fred Cooke first took to the comedy stage while studying in University College Dublin. This enabled him to work along side some of the great Irish comedians such as Jason Byrne, David O Doherty and Ardal O Hanlon and he is now the resident M.C of the Lantern Laugh in Navan. Doors open at 8pm every Wednesday at Transformer. Admission is €8 or €5 with a student card.Â
