Forced Entertainment are the UK's most celebrated pioneers of contemporary theatre and have been trailblazers for over a quarter of a century.
For their latest show the company turn their attention to a narrative where everything is reshaped and everything is cannibalised. Six performers create, collaborate, ambush and disrupt an epic saga that is resolutely too big for the stage: from love and death to sex and laundry, from shipwrecks to falling snow, personal anecdotes rub shoulders with imaginary movies, and half-remembered novels bump into distorted fairytales.
Incorporating live music, wrong-headed theatrical tricks and broken dances, the coming Storm is Forced Entertainment at their best - trademark black humour, a collage of arresting images and an anarchic performance style.
