While nothing compares to a live show, dedicated artists continue to flock to social media for live-streaming performances for their fans amidst social distancing practices.

Here’s a list of the best live-streaming shows and events to look forward to this week.



Some of Ireland's top artist's have teamed up with ISPCC and RTÉ 2FM to present a two week live music event. From Friday 27th March, listeners can tune in live at 7.00pm daily to each artist's Instagram account or RTÉ 2fm for live performances from artists such as Niall Horan, Walking on Cars and Hudson Taylor. Spectacular Quarantine Quizzes

Although the pubs may be closed and the world is on lockdown, your Friday night pub quiz lives on. Spectacular Pub Quizzes are rolling out the quizzes all week with themes including Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Mean Girls and Gavin and Stacey to entertain the masses. Mick Flannery presents 'Mini Gigs at Mick's'

Curating a series of online performances connecting musicians across continents, Mick Flannery presents 'Mini Gigs at Mick's' in partnership with PlayIrish. Supporting the Irish music industry across the world, the live streamed shows will take place on Mick's Facebook and Instagram.

'The Shows Must Go On' Broadway musical series

Andrew Lloyd Webber will be streaming his musicals for free online in a new series entitled "The Shows Must Go On". The series started with the 2000 adaptation of the renowned 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat'. The shows will be available for 48 hours from Friday 3rd April at 7pm (BST). Metallica Mondays

The heavy metal legends have launched a series called Metallica Mondays, broadcasting complete live shows from their archives over the years. You can catch the streams over on the Metallica Facebook page and Youtube channel every Monday. Check out last week's upload of the band's epic show at Slane Castle in 2019.
