The (not so sleepy) town of Ardara in the south west of Co. Donegal once again will lay claim to the 'festival capital' of the county. The Melting Pot Festival will be held over the June bank holiday weekend 2013. An eclectic mix of music, song, dance, food, exhibitions and displays will be celebrated over the four days, incorporating many of the ethnic cultures in the area, as well as others from around the globe.

This is an event for national and foreign national people of the region to integrate further and to have some fun. It is a chance to put ignorance behind, to break down barriers, whilst also opening up and learning more about each other's ways of life. It is also an ideal opportunity for the international visitor to come and explore this extremely active town and experience for themselves the wonderful diversity of its inhabitants and its varied cultures. The programme of events for the weekend will include live performances in many of the town's venues by international musicians, singers and dancers, art and photo exhibitions, food from around the world, street performances, stalls and a series of other fun events for all the family and to entertain all the masses. Don't miss out! Put the dates in your diary now! Come and enjoy life in 'The Melting Pot'.
