The Birth Day is a solo theatre performance about one woman’s life; from her birth and teenage years in Ireland to NYC in the ‘80’s where she worked as a waitress and a dancer. Wild nights out and the love of her life brought her to Berlin in the 90’s. Nothing worked out as planned and years later she returns to Ireland and attempts to start all over again. Now a middle aged woman, alone, in a place she hardly knows she endeavours to turn her life around - again!

This is a drama that’s full of comedy. Every woman can identify with the character at some point in their life. It’s a text-based show brought to life through dance, pantomime, puppetry and clown.
First performed following a one week residency at the Theatre Development Centre, Cork and a year later performed at the Camden Palace Hotel, Cork in 2012
