Following the successful Summer @ NCH Series last year which featured some of the finest artists on the Irish music scene, The National Concert Hall are doing it all again. In 2013, the year of the Gathering, the Series features the best of Irish musicians from the famed singer/songwriter Sinéad O’Connor, to one of Ireland’s oldest Céilí bands, the Kilfenora Céilí band with the West Clare Set Dancers and Galway singer, Don Stiffe as well as LAPD comprising of four supremely talented musicians; Liam O'Flynn, Andy Irvine, Paddy Glackin and Dónal Lunny. Traditional fiddler Martin Hayes plays in two distinctly diverse concerts one of which features early music superstar Jordi Savall. 

They also welcome some international superstars to the stage with Bryan Ferry making his National Concert Hall debut with the Bryan Ferry Jazz Orchestra, Indie rock legends, Spiritualized perform their classic album - ‘Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating in Space’ - live on stage; the only performance of this album in 2013; ‘The Queen of American Song’Dianne Reeves celebrates Independence Day with a special concert for Irish audiences.

Fionnuala Hunt - A Reflection Series
A Reflection is a series of concerts devised by one of Ireland’s foremost soloists, Fionnuala Hunt, highlighting the most important aspects of her performing career: directing a chamber orchestra, chamber music (including works by Irish composers) and her love of Tango music. Joining Fionnuala in this series is the great Viennese baritone Wolfgang Holzmair, her sister Una Hunt, soprano Rachel Kelly - winner of the Bernadette Greevy Bursary Award 2012, percussionist Noel Eccles, Tango dancers Simona Zaino & Hernan Catvin and many more.
