Storytelling Southeast is a multi-disciplinary arts festival for Dungarvan and West Waterford. Now preparing for its 2nd year after a successful inaugural edition. 3,500 people attended one or more of the 45 events over the 5 festival days. The festival's aim is to explore how we tell stories today. look at the narrative across all forms of artistic expression. From traditional storytelling and heritage to poetry and play, from film to the visual arts, contemporary writing and music.

Storytelling Southeast encourages public dialogue and participation, community involvement and interaction. In anticipation of the 2nd edition, more emphasis will be on workshops, collaborative art, exploration and an invitation to actively take part. This inclusive programme will be integrated with the live performances; music, theatre, readings, film screenings etc. A festival of discovery, a celebration of diversity, an exploration of creativity.
