Following the success of last year's inaugural Doolin Writers' Weekend, it's back for a second run at the end of this month (March 28th - 30th) and the impressive line-up has just been unveiled.

Theo Dorgan - renowned poet and novelist - will launch the weekend at 8pm in Hotel Doolin with a reading before the announcement of the 2014 Doolin Short Story Competition winner. Mark Grahham will speak about his book and blog A Year of Festivals in Ireland later on that night.

Other esteemed members of the Irish literary scene who will attend the festival are novelist Claire Kilroy, who will lead one of the many superb workshops, Claire Keegan, Moya Cannon, Arlene Hunt, Eoin Purcell and Sonya Kelly.

As well as workshops, readings and discussions, music features heavily on the programme and festival goers will also get a chance to take a guided tour along the Cliffs of Moher.

All events will take place in Hotel Doolin; hotel manager - and event organiser - Donal Minihane described the weekend as 'a great opportunity for aspiring writers as well as literary fans and published authors to get together and celebrate everything that is good about Irish literature.'
