The Spirit of Voice 2008 festival will run from Thursday 6th November until Sunday 9th November promising an eclectic mix of music and vocal styles.  To begin the celebrations a unique open evening entitled 'Telling Tales' will be held in The Galway City Museum 3pm Halloween, October 31st with many events to entertain the little ones while adults take in the richness of the stories on offer.  Accompanied by audio and visuals, 'Telling Tales' will have a distinctly Irish theme, depicting stories from various periods in Ireland's history. Spirit of Voice is in its fifth year and offers a varied and interesting combination of music, storytelling and songs from worldwide cultures.  Highlights of this year's festival include Moya Brennan, Séan Tyrrell, BBC Radio's Jonathan Keeble and a unique music and yoga workshop by Ram Singh.
