Between the 20 - 22 September 2013, Sonic Arts Waterford presents the inaugural edition of SAW Fest. The Festival is focused on presenting cutting edge sounds and visuals from Irish and international artists.

The event is unique to Ireland and will include performances, video art, mapping projections, musician-led workshops and talks in the area of sound manipulation, field recording and circuit bending. Acts include performances by The Quiet Club (Cork), Bernard Clarke (Dublin), MiXile (Waterford), Cygna (Malta), Dat Rayon (Poland), Hatti Vatti (Poland) with visuals and projections by Waterford based artist Conrado de Velasco (Bangenuf Visuals).

SAW Fest is hosted by Waterford City arts venues such as Garter Lane and Soma Contemporary Gallery. The Festival is launched with free events at Culture Night on 20th September.
