Songs Of Praise, Dublin's original Rock + Roll Karaoke night, is celebrating it's fourth Birthday on Easter Sunday the 12th of April. To mark the occasion they have planned a night of unbridled hedonism, with lashings of Captan Morgan's Spiced rum and their legendary brand of Karaoke mayhem. DJ Rory Montane will provide the songs of faith and devotion while Brother Declan will hold service on the Karaoke Sound Stage. In the last four years Songs of Praise have redefined Karaoke and rescued Sundays from the grown ups, witnessing many legendary nights of mischief and mayhem. There have been visits from indie luminaries, the Killers, local heroes the Republic of Louse and honest to goodness legend Toni Bennett… But it's the regulars who get up and sing regardless of talent, without regard for their standing in the community and on occasion without clothes, that makes Songs of Praise the last bastion of fun in these serious and sensible times. Full advantage will be taken of extra late Bank Holiday serving hours, but get down early if you want to sing your praises. Arise and join the celebration from 10pm. Admission is free 'til midnight.
