Described as a bull-riding pedestal, the work takes donated artwork and measures art worth through the physical properties of the artworks staying upon the pedestal. An open call was put out to artists prior to the exhibition challenging the longevity of their work upon the pedestal. On the opening night a rotation of artwork will be put to the test ironically reflecting the anxiety ridden transient nature of the emerging art market. A spontaneous exhibition of fallen and crushed artwork satirically curates itself within the gallery space nodding to the steadfast tide of production, curation, exhibition, and dismantling that gallery spaces and artists operate within.
