Celebrate Sligo's vibrant music scene with Ireland’s only Love: Live Music Day this year. A free outdoor concert in The Italian Quarter on Saturday, June 21st from 2 - 5pm will showcase a rich selection of Sligo's musical talent across many different genres.
As well as the concert, a Love:Live Music Busking event will take place from 2-5pm on Rockwood Parade and JFK Parade on Sat, June 21st welcoming acts from around the country, Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann will launch their programme with a big concert in the Sligo Park Hotel featuring several all-Ireland winning Céílí Bands and Furey’s Bar feature a full night of music commencing with their weekly 8pm early evening session.
The diversity of the Sligo music scene will be on display in this highly anticipated event which will have a particular focus on young musicians.
Love:Live Music Day welcomes all visitors on Saturday June 21st from 2pm until late for a fun for all musical event.
