On the June bank holiday weekend the Wexford Quays will come alive with the best in music, comedy, craic and entertainment. Sásta is a family friendly festival with lots of attractions to entertain young and old alike. There will be everything from carousels to climbing walls, puppet shows to popcorn, face painting to fajitas, drumming to dance, clowns to crooning and lots more.

Ireland’s only travelling theme park, McFadden’s Funfairs’ Pleasure Planet will bring all the fun of the fair with the newest and most exciting funfair rides for children, teenagers and families, including the 44 metre high G-Force!

On the main stage an array of local and national talent will wow the crowd, including Galway rock band The Cabin Collective and the ringmaster himself, the showman that is Jerry Fish.

This is a FREE event for families and the general public. There is no charge for entry onto the Quay or for any of the areas, and this is an alcohol-free event. An array of food stalls will be operated by local food producers, selling food on the go and products to take home. Sásta will support lots of community initiatives and organisations including Tidy Towns, Wexford in Bloom, Marine Watch and Art in the Open.
