Rubberband is a relatively new night on Dublin's club scene set up to showcase some of the world's most respected House and Techno producers as well as top Irish talent. Up until now the night has been a monthly event hosted at Andrew's Lane Theatre, it will now move on to be hosted weekly at Dublin's coolest and far more intimate venue WAX on South William St. (spy basement). Resident Rubberband DJs include Al Keegan and David De Valera, the night will also see regular appearances from the Acii Disco crew as Rubberband will be the new host of the infamous Acii Disco parties! The night will also feature co promotions with Onetrack records who have until now been running events at Dublin's underground at Kennedy's. Expect quality guests from around the country alongside heaps of local talent, high energy resident action and talented international guests each month! The launch night takes place on September 20th with admission at a very reasonable €10 or €8 before midnight or with a student ID plus a free Mix CD for the first 100!
