October is upon us, meaning that spooky season has well and truly arrived. So why not meet up with your favourite pals and head to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre for a wild and untamed musical like no other.

Damn it, Janet! The 'Rocky Horror Show' is infiltrating Dublin for one week only.

Richard O’Brien’s legendary non-stop rock ‘n’ roll musical will be providing plenty of tricks and treats (and some naughty moments as well) for all attendees at the Bord Gais Energy Theatre from Monday, October 4 through to Saturday, October 9, 2021.

Fans will already be familiar with the original 1975 cult classic, which expertly blended elements of comedy, horror and musical theatre. Starring Tim Curry as Dr Frank-N-Furter, the over-the-top and totally hypnotic cross-dressing scientist who claims to have discovered the "secret to life itself", two unsuspecting people (Brad Majors and Janet Weiss, played by Barry Bostwick and Susan Sarandon) are subjected to the madness that unfolds before them in an eerie mansion.

Directed by Christopher Luscombe and featuring a number of timeless classics from the film, the stage adaptation of 'Rocky Horror Show' will include tracks such as 'Damn it Janet', 'Sweet Transvestite', and of course, the pelvic thrusting 'Time Warp'.

The worldwide stage tour is in Dublin this week, starring Stephen Webb as Frank, Haley Flaherty as Janet, Reece Budin as Brad, and Philip Franks as the narrator of the spectacle.

An adventure you won't be forgetting in a hurry, which is certain to be filled with fun, frolics, frocks, and frivolity, the musical will make for perfect pre-Halloween viewing.

Tickets are still available at the time of writing. Pricing begins at €30 and can be made through Ticketmaster (here).
