Armand Ruffo will give an interactive and illustrated talk about the influential artist Norval Morrisseau intertwined with poetry and visuals.

Norval Morrisseau was an Aboriginal Canadian Artist. He created works depicting legends of his people, the cultural and political tensions between native Canadian and European traditions, his existential struggles and his deep spirituality and mysticism. His style is characterised by thick blue/black outlines and bright colours. He was a founding member of The Woodlands School of Canadian Art and a prominent member of the ‘Indian Group of Seven’.
