Tickets will go on sale later this week for what will be an incredibly special live gig in Dublin.

The legendary Scottish rock band Primal Scream are heading back to Dublin for another summer headbanging session.

The Glaswegians will be playing a full set of their 1991 album ‘Screamadelica’ in Fairview Park in Dublin on June 22, 2022. Tickets go on sale later this week.

Primal Scream will also be hitting up Glasgow, Halifax, Manchester, London, and Cardiff on their Ireland and UK tour later this year, with tickets for those dates already on sale.

The 'Screamadelica Live' tour will see the band return to playing live gigs for the first time since December 2019. The tour, be completed by a selection of greatest hits spanning similarly essential albums such as ‘XTRMNTR’ and ‘Give Out But Don’t Give Up’, and will see them play some of the biggest shows of their career.

It will see the band commemorate the 30th anniversary of their influential landmark album which last October saw the release of two new versions of the album. A 10-disc 12" Singles Box compiles nine replicas of the singles from the original album campaign alongside Andrew Weatherall’s recently unveiled ‘Shine Like Stars’ remix, all pressed on 180-gram heavyweight vinyl. The second release is the album’s first-ever picture disc format.

Fairview Park will see the likes of FOALS, Olivia Rodrigo and St Vincent take to the stage later this year too.

Tickets for Primal Scream in Dublin will cost €49.90 including booking fee and will go on sale Friday, January 21 at 10 am at Ticketmaster.ie. This will be an over 16s event.
