The Portmagee Sea Shanty Festival is a great weekend of music and all things nautical.
The weekend will consist of lively bar sessions every evening and a fund-raising concert in aid of the RNLI Lifeboats and Inshore Rescue on the Saturday night. There will be Sea Shanty workshops for adults and children on the Saturday, which are open to everyone. During the day international Shanty Groups will sing in local bars (and on an outdoor stage weather-permitting).
Family friendly activities will include a pirate fancy dress parade led by the pipe-bands, a treasure hunt, face painting and more.
