Phil Lynch began writing poetry as a teenager and had work published in a number of magazines and journals at the time. Having lived abroad for a number of years he returned to Dublin in late 2009 and has since become a regular performer at spoken word events and festivals in the city and around the country. In 2011 he performed on The Wordstage at the Electric Picnic Festival and on Balcony TV for Dublin Poetry Week (). He has also given readings in Brussels, Louvain and New York. Recent publications in which his work has appeared include: Boyne Berries, Revival Literary Journal, Circle Time, Bare Hands (e-publication), Bare Hands Print Anthology, The Poetry Bus Magazine, Census 3, Outburst (e-publication). He has also been featured in a number of radio broadcasts, including RTE’s Arena programme. Phil is a member of the Dalkey Writers’ Workshop and also participates in the Dublin Writers’ Forum.
