'Phase one' brings together both popular and less well known genres of electronic music and incorporates them with multi-media and visual arts for the entertainment and enjoyment of all.
National and international acts such as Biosphere (Norway) and LTJ Bukem (UK), Donal Dineen, Le Galaxie, Cian O' Ciobhain (An Taobh Tuathail), Eamonn Doyle and Dubh Thrian will play along side emerging Irish producers. The festival will feature an outdoor stage, a number of indoor performance spaces and galleries in a beautiful 19th Century former courthouse building, overlooking the majestic river Shannon.
Daytime events are designed to be family, disability, young and old friendly and fun so as to allow for a unique interaction between visitors and the gallery. Electronic based workshop events will be available for all ages. The visual arts element includes Donal Dineen installing The Art of Music 3, exploring the interplay between electronic music, visual art and film with an installation and performance piece in the galleries.
