A series of short opera productions presented by the Royal Irish Academy of Music in partnership with The Lir Academy at Trinity College Dublin.

In the second of three productions Britten’s dramatic cantata exploring the death of the mythological, incestuous Phaedra is coupled with Jake Heggie’s poignant work for actor and baritone based on a true story of two gay lovers the Holocaust tore apart forever.
